• The Danfoss MBT 5252 is a heavy-duty temperature sensor that can be used for controlling cooling water, lubrication oil, hydraulic oil and refrigeration plants within general industry and marine applications. This temperature sensor is based on a standardized Pt100 or Pt1000 element, which gives a reliable and accurate measurement. The MBT 5252 can be delivered with NTC/PTC elements on request. If needed, a transmitter (MBT 9110) can be ordered as an integrated part of the sensor. In the low temperature version (-50 °C to +200 °C) the measuring insert is based on a silicone cable, which makes the sensor very resistant towards vibrations. All parts in contact with the media are made of stainless steel AISI 316 Ti. The MBT 5252 is equipped with a B-head as standard, but can be delivered with B-mini or B-head with screw cap on request.

• Danfoss special mounting method of the sensor element gives the MBT 5252 a short response time. Heat is transferred through the protection tube material and directly into the sensor element.

• The MBT 5252 has been designed for applications where there is a need for reliable, robust and accurate temperature measurement.
• The insert of the sensor is based on a cable that works as a spring inside the sensor and pushes the tip of the insert towards the bottom of the protection tube. This makes the sensor highly resistant to vibration.
